HSEO markets the IRA rebates as the "eHale Energy Saver Rebate Program." As of the HSEO program page, the program is "Currently Pending US Department of Energy Approval of launch" and is not accepting applications. HSEO states the HEAR/HEEHR pathway is expected to be fully available to Hawaiʻi residents in late 2026, and that timing for HOMES program approval is currently unknown. No public application portal exists.

Can I still get a federal tax credit in Hawaii?
No. 25C and 25D were both repealed by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act for property placed in service after December 31, 2025. Anything installed in Hawaii in 2026 earns no federal residential energy credit. Work finished on or before that date can still be claimed.
