DEP administers both programs under the name Penn Energy Savers, comprising the Home Efficiency Rebates (HER) Program and the Home Electrification & Appliance Rebate (HEAR) Program. DEP's page states: "As of May 2026, DEP is awaiting final DOE approval to launch the Home Energy Rebate programs." No consumer application portal is open.

Can I still get a federal tax credit in Pennsylvania?
No. 25C and 25D were both repealed by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act for property placed in service after December 31, 2025. Anything installed in Pennsylvania in 2026 earns no federal residential energy credit. Work finished on or before that date can still be claimed.
