Heat Pump Tier 3 (19.1 SEER2 / 9 HSPF2)$550 base incentive; $650 income qualifiedTier 1 (15.2 SEER2 / 7.8 HSPF2) is $250/$350 and Tier 2 (17.2 SEER2 / 8 HSPF2) is $375/$475. Installer must be on NV Energy's approved contractor list before the install date.

Ductless Heat Pump (18 SEER2 / 9 HSPF2)$650 base incentive; $750 income qualifiedAHRI certified ductless systems only. Single-family homes and townhomes; multifamily units do not qualify.

Attic requires existing R-20 or less increased to R-49 or greater; wall requires existing R-5 or less increased to R-13 or greater; floor requires existing R-4 or less increased to R-22 or greater. Latest program update

The Governor's Office of Energy lists the Home Efficiency Rebates Program (Section 50121) status as "IFC approved; Notice of Award received" and the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates Program (Section 50122) as still in the application and program-design stage. There is no consumer application anywhere on energy.nv.gov, and the office's own timeline page ends at a tentative "2025" launch that did not occur. The GOE funding pages were last updated 07/25/2025, so the projected launch date is stale; the fact that no application is open was verified directly.

Can I still get a federal tax credit in Nevada?

No. 25C and 25D were both repealed by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act for property placed in service after December 31, 2025. Anything installed in Nevada in 2026 earns no federal residential energy credit. Work finished on or before that date can still be claimed.
