The state Home Energy Rebates Programs page states "Implementation of these programs in Louisiana is in progress. Please check back for updates," and no application portal is live. The page sits on the archived DENR site; the agency was reorganized into the Department of Conservation and Energy on October 1, 2025, and the successor site (dce.louisiana.gov) does not currently carry Home Energy Rebates content. Allocation figures are from the U.S. DOE IRA Home Energy Rebates state allocation table (updated May 23, 2024).

Can I still get a federal tax credit in Louisiana?

No. 25C and 25D were both repealed by the One Big Beautiful Bill Act for property placed in service after December 31, 2025. Anything installed in Louisiana in 2026 earns no federal residential energy credit. Work finished on or before that date can still be claimed.
